Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Gr. 1 Natural

This coffee comes from the geographical zone of Yirgacheffe, in the region of Gedeo. Its variety is called Heirloom (Kurume) and is famous for its clean and shiny acidities. It grows at an altitude from 1,800 to 2,100 m.a.s.l. It is exported under the name "Yirgacheffe" according to the administrative categorizations imposed by the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX).

Ethiopian coffees come from wild varieties, most of which are still unclassified by genetics research. The "Heirloom" variety is the most commonly found in all regions of production.
